GREAT combo!!!
I LOVE this cd clock radio!!! I was shocked to see that it had such poor reviews. My infant daughter loved to hear white noise but most baby products are set on a timer so that the longest they will play is 45 minutes. I leave the ocean noise on in her room all night. I love the blue display versus the traditional annoying red and the cd player also works well. I was thrilled to find this combination item (especially at such a great price!) so as not to have a sound machine and cd player/clock radio taking up additional space.
NEVER BUY MEMOREX
This product broke within one week!! Memorex will fix/replace AFTER you fax a receipt to get a "ship to" address and then pay to ship it and include money for them to ship it back. I would end up paying 50% of the original cost to get this item repaired. The company was unphased when I complained about their "warranty". Buyer BEWARE!!
Broken on arrival!
I knew this was a Memorex so I really wasn't expecting all that much. I bought it for my 2 year olds room so she could listed to the nature sounds or an audio book now and them. Although it looks sleek, the row of buttons on the top are far from intuitive. Would be impossible to find a particular button in a poorly lit/dark room. Cheap volume wheel on the side and very cheap slider switches for am/fm, nature sounds, dim settings etc. The reason it's going back though is the broken tuner display. When you spin the cheapo dial on the side to change radio stations the digital display doesn't change from "82.7". It flickers like it wants to change...but it doesn't. Since I don't plan to use this as a radio in her room I did consider keeping it. But the overall poor design swayed me. Hope I can find that receipt...
