Color LCD clock5
This clock is everything I was looking for (well, almost - it would be nice if it was atomic as well). It is small and slim, barely takes any space by the bed). The display is large enough to be seen from across the room. Very simple with one alarm (which I rarely would use). It is easy to set (the only drawback is that the numbers only go one way but there is a separate set for hour and minute so it makes it easier). It displays in 12/24 hour mode which is really nice and you can see the seconds going by (which to me is a BIG plus). The colors are very nice (yes, I like to play with this feature) and they set like a puzzle - there are three little buttons that you push in various ways and they determine the color of the display). At night, it is not too bright and you can see the display easily. The date and day feature is helpful as well. Have you ever woken up on a Saturday or Sunday thinking it's a work day? One look at the clock and you won't be confused anymore :) Overall, I am very pleased with this clock and would recommend it for someone who likes simplicity.

IMPRESSIVE ALARM CLOCK. VERY PLEASED!5
I am shocked by the previous review of this product. Does the reviewer want his alarm clock to go off ad infinitum. How boring! One would become desensitized.

I just received this clock and find it works perfectly. It is small, yet has a very chic design. Its positive features also are scrolling seconds, day-month-year setting, and if you put it on 24 hours (rather than 12 hours), the am-pm feature changes automatically. Although the clock is small, the numbers on the LCD screen are large. It takes one AAA battery so that if the power goes out, the clock will still keep working. And, of course, there is a little picture of a bell to tell you that your alarm is set.

The alarm is not quiet, yet not raucous either. I think it is at a perfect volume. It goes off for one minute; if you want it again, it will return in five minutes if you push the snooze button. It sounds more frequently as the minute progresses. Quite frankly, if you can sleep through all that, then perhaps you need a fire alarm. That should get you going!

I had great fun with the LCD screen color selector. There are seven colors to choose from: red, white, yellow, green, two shades of blue (aqua and royal) and purple. After trying them all (I felt like a kid in a toy shop!), I decided on the purple because, although I could see the numbers on the screen clearly from across the room, it cast the least light within the room, and I prefer a dark room to sleep in. It's also a very pretty shade. Makes you feel good.

The only feature I wish were different is the bar which you slide to place your settings. I am used to digital buttons, and they are slightly easier to use (they were on my old clock which recently expired). However, although a little more attention is required to make these settings, there are so many pluses to this product that it really doesn't matter to me.

It suits me very well and I am glad I ignored the negative review and ordered it anyway. This morning I woke up just fine!

"12/24-hour clock format"4
As ANTOnline would not answer my inquiry, I will post my own response. I just received my clock today, and am very pleased.

As a clock standard, it is powered by AC (120V 60 Hz) with a AAA 1.5V DC backup. The display is 1.8" x 4.75", and the color option is incredibly easy to set. 3 locking buttons, one for each color setting, RGB (button down for on, up for off), 7 choices (technically 8, because if none are lit, it displays a visible shade of black, but who wants a black display on a black background).

The most important feature (I feel), is the 12/24-hour clock format. How many people have been late at one time or another because we accidently set the alarm for pm instead of am? That's exactly why I only buy alarm clocks with the 24-hour format. Reading 24-hour format is no sweat. Ignore the 10's place, and subtract 2. Once you get used to looking at the time at certain hours, you remember what hundred hours is what pm.

This clock is an excellent value, and I highly recommend it.
